Consist ITU Environmental Software GmbH and Governikus GmbH & Co. KG agree partnership

Hamburg - In April 2020, Consist ITU and Governikus signed a partnership agreement. The companies thereby formalized their long-standing indirect technical cooperation. For more than 10 years, Consist ITU has developed software for the electronic waste records procedure (eANV), that uses many components of the Governikus application of the IT Planning Council in its central infrastructure, which among other things were developed for safe and legally-binding data exchange via OSCI (Online Services Computer Interface), and which have served as basic components of the Virtual Post Box (VPS) of ZKS-Abfall (the central waste coordination body of the federal states) since 2009.

The rising demand for secure infrastructures, in particular for communication with the authorities (e.g. through the Online Access Act), leads to an expected growing demand for relevant services. With the partnership agreement, Consist ITU secures access to the Governikus products and support. Governikus gains an experienced partner for the development and marketing of its own products.
